For over three years, I have been involved in internet marketing and niche marketing. And when I look at myself as a marketer, it reminds me of my years as a student attending Carver High School of engineering and science.

As a student of carver HSES, I had high expectations for myself. I had expected nothing but all A's on my report card. I was always going to school with that mindset. I was pushing myself to the limit. And by doing so, I truly believed that I could get high marks on my school work and report card if I tried hard enough.

But then, my reality came crashing down, when I did not receive all A's on the report card. After all that hard work I was pushing myself, pressuring myself to do, all I received as compensation were a single A, 2 B's, And 3 C's! Yeah, they were good to my parents, but it was not to me. I wanted great grades so that the best colleges could chase me down instead of me chasing them.

So, I psuhed myself to try even harder. This time, I did not even eat lucnh when it came to it. All I did was head to the library and crackexd open the bvooks. Everyday, I did just that. Did not even bother to take breaks. Just read read read!

But, when the report came again, I did even worse than the one before. I received 3 B's, 2 C's, and one F! This was not going too well for me. I was getting sick and desparate at the same time to the point that I was getting worse and worse when it came to working on my academics.

Then one day, I got so sick that I gave up on school. I pratically did not care anymore.
Until one day, A good friend of mine, who was practically a high school teacher's pet, needed money for lucnge. And since we were cool, I gave him some of the money I had left. He was so grateful to me, and since he knew about my situation, he wanted to show me how he got all A's without having to try so hard at all.

I was skeptical at first, but since he was my friend and I wanted a second chance, I listened to him and found out his secret to acing every class without any effort on my part.

This was his secret: Copying! He was copying everything from the most successful students in particular classes. The teachers did not even care. And that is what made it so easy for him.
So I gave it a shot! And Holy Cow, The next report card had a nothing but good marks on them. All A's! And I did not even put any effort to it! I was truly grateful to my friend sharing that amzing secret!

The Best People That Truly Inspired Me!

Now, I'm just going to write from the heart because these people are truly an inspiration for me to improve myself not as a marketer but as a man! These are the people that you must follow because they truly gave me a reason to improve myself, to grow as an individual. Now, I personally do not like to pick favorites. Especially not these people! Because they were all my mentors, even though we have not personally met. If I had the honor to meet these good people, I would never forget. Here is a list of those people you should follow, not just for their marketing expertise, but for everything they are!

  • The Tubby Nerd Ed Dale - The first person I got to know from my participation in the 2008 30 Day Challenge! If you are into niche marketing, guitar playing, and some other stuff regarding fashion, and of course, one of my favorites, the iphone, you should check out what he does and who he is! You can find his blog on tubbynerd.com
  • The Man Who Makes Money Without Any Effort Frank Kern - Truly a remarkable guy! Truly! My favorite story about Frank is how he was able to pick himself back up after the girls from the FTC sued him (And By the Way, I still don't get why they sued him in the first place! He was just making money for pete sake!)
  • And I have not forgotten Good ol' Perry Belcher - He is one of the reasons I started writing on my blog with a passion to share with others what I do and who I am! He gave me a reason to create a blog, to share my personal stuff with others.
  • And I have others I should be talking about! But I don't wanna keep boring you with my stories of great mentors.
So, If you don't have a mentor, I suggest that you go out there and find one. But choose them cautiously. Don't pick just any one!

How To Write A Good Article

Hey Guys! How's it goin? Now, Today I wanted to show you how to write a good article. Now you might be wondering if what I'm about to teach you (I know I'm not a school teacher but I always wanted to say that!) is either totally irrelevant to your online business goals or is not a skill you are very fond of because writing sucks like a**. But, I will tell you now before you even think of leaving this blog post that learning how to write a good article is
  • Not very hard when you finally learn it from me (Oh and by the way, I use to have a Ph.D in Writer's Block, A Master's In Grammatical Errors, I was literally on top of my game in suck-a** writing... Pretty Impressive... But that's not important cuz I will show you why in just a minute.)
  • Essential to establishing yourself as an authority in your particular industry, whether in any particular niche like dog training, parrot training, etc.
So let us get down to business! (Man, I really got to start conjugating some words automatically. I'm startin' to sound like a big nerd!)

Now, establishing yourself as an authority in the eyes of your market comes from two things. But one of those things I want to discuss with you is giving your market, your list, your audience, or even the future love of your life alot of value. Give them what they want before you get what you want! And that can be through high quality content, like a video or an article.

To create high quality content is to teach high quality lessons. Now remember this saying from the wise man himself:

Teaching Sells!

If you can teach someone, let us say, a 10 year old how to build an atomic bomb, you have created a high quality lesson (For the violent 10 year old in this case). And thus, you have created high quality content! That's all! Teaching sells!

So, learning how to write a good article comes from learning to teach someone in your market how to (blank). People are on the internet to be educated. And those who can educate people online are considered an authority, someone in a particular industry who knows their stuff and is willing to teach it to others. Remember to give in order to get. But give them value. Not crap!

But still, you might feel like you're not a good teacher. So here are two awesome suggestions for you, my friend:
  • Stop saying that you are not a good teacher! I don't want to hear that crap! Fact is, if you can teach someone in your family how to tie a shoe, then you can teach! Have the mindset of a good teacher. See yourself as a good teacher!
  • If you have trouble teaching something, that is because you have not learned that 'something'. So, I suggest to you that if you are going to establish yourself as an authority, learn from the authority figures in your industry, and teach what you've learned to your niche market. That simple!
